For 18 years, the FAO and the Brazilian Government have partnered through the South-South Cooperation Program. This initiative fosters knowledge exchange and joint projects across Latin America and the Caribbean, addressing hunger, food insecurity, inequality, and climate change.

FAO, with the Brazilian Cooperation Agency (ABC/MRE), drives actions to create resilient, sustainable agri-food systems. Initiatives include strengthening family farming, promoting healthy school meals, responsible land governance, urban agri-food systems, and expanding rural technology access.
