The FAO-UNDP SCALA programme is enhancing the resilience and food security of women farmers in Côte d’Ivoire's cassava value chain. By adopting agroforestry practices, women like Florence can increase yields, produce byproducts such as attiéké (cassava couscous), strengthen social bonds, protect forest cover, and improve soil health.
