In Ethiopia, Colombia, and Mongolia, women farmers are leading inclusive climate action through the FAO-UNDP SCALA programme. Their expertise is influencing national policy, such as certifying Indigenous women as climate experts in Colombia and incorporating gender-responsive targets in Mongolia's agricultural budgets.

SCALA (2021–2028) is a €26 million initiative aimed at enhancing climate resilience in over 20 countries, funded by Germany's Federal Ministry for the Environment. Learn more about the programme at FAO.
