ICARRD+20, the 20-year follow-up to the International Conference on Agrarian Reform and Rural Development, convened over 4,300 participants from 100+ countries. FAO supported consultations, stressing the urgent need to restore and sustainably manage degraded agricultural lands—from croplands to pastoral areas—to ensure food security, livelihoods, and environmental health.
