An Interfaith Call to Inclusion brought together the leaders of faith-based organizations in Portland, Oregon post-election, beginning with a rally in Portland's Pioneer Square on November 10th, 2016. It was a calling together of Muslim, Jewish, Christian, Sikh, Buddhist and First Nations faith leaders to continue the work for creating the Beloved Community. Subsequent meetings of this leadership group provided an opportunity to interview some of them on the aftershock of the election and the effects on their communities and social justice work. The Portland Interfaith Clergy Resistance is an outgrowth of the Interfaith Call to Inclusion and remains active (2020).
