What if everyone could make and repair their own stuff?
October 08, 2019
When Marcin Jakubowski's tractor broke and he had to spend a significant amount of his own hard earned money to get it fixed by its manufacturer, it started him on a journey to create greater visibility around how our stuff is made and repaired. Several years later, he is the co-founder of the Global Village Construction Set. A project with the ambition to provide the blueprints needed for everyday makers to create anything from tractors and ovens to to circuit makers or even an entire village, all at a fraction of the commercial costs. Watch the original live stream of this conversation between Marcin Jakubowski and the Foundation's Seb Egerton-Read here: https://youtu.be/YiOLrVVIZlo. Thank you for watching this video.
