The current and future scenario in circular food systems: which are the main initiatives and trends globally? How might circular systems be part of a global transition? The global food system needs a transition to a paradigm that is more people, SDG and planet-centered requiring several ingredients: awareness, education, culture change, entrepreneurship, cooperation, and innovation. It is crucial to facilitate and support bottom-up projects – emerging from the market, the third sector and individuals. The session focus on the stories of people behind pioneering ideas that are shaping the future of our food systems and will include case studies from: The Netherlands, England, France, Italy, Germany, Spain, Canada, USA, Mexico, Japan, China, Hong Kong, Singapore, Thailand, South Korea, India, South Africa, Iceland, Israel, United Arab Emirates.
