Introduction to the Circular Economy e-Learning Programme
November 21, 2016
In response to requests from our CE100 member organisations, we have designed a scalable capacity building e-Learning tool geared towards middle managers to executive level roles. Its content specifically addresses the business benefits of a circular economy, while offering an introduction to the concept by delivering key messages in just a few short modules. The programme includes multiple case studies and tangible examples and is self-directed so learners can tailor it to their own time schedule. The content is divided into five sections; an introductory overview module showcasing the value of a circular economy in just over 30 minutes, along with four 15 minute modules which address the functional business areas of R&D, Supply Chain and Procurement, Marketing, and Strategy and Finance. The interactive and visually appealing programme has been created using an award-winning authoring tool and describes concepts using beautiful imagery, rich animations, audio narration and videos including a bespoke video message from Ellen MacArthur. Individual learner journeys can be tracked while challenge questions can earn achievement badges which serve as additional incentives for engagement.
