The discussion featured global climate justice leaders, prioritizing those on the frontlines. They explored critical questions for businesses: understanding climate change impacts, identifying key focus areas for climate justice efforts, and determining actions with the greatest positive impact. The panel also conveyed direct messages to businesses engaged in climate justice, offering vital perspectives from diverse communities worldwide.

This month, we feature Andrés Jimenez, Executive Director of Green2.0, an organization dedicated to increasing diversity in environmental justice conversations.

Jimenez brings extensive experience, having previously served as Senior Director of Government Affairs for Citizens' Climate Lobby, Associate Director of Government Relations at Ocean Conservancy, and worked on Capitol Hill for Reps. Linda Sanchez and Howard Berman.

This experience fueled her to establish "Green is the New Black" at Howard University, a campaign dedicated to food and environmental justice.

Through her initiative, Stallworth organized expert-led workshops for students and a symposium that connected over 35 green organizations with college students for internships and jobs.
