Tamara Hill-Kennedy of the Green Meeting Industry Council (GMIC) addressed the "Where's the ROI in green travel?" panel at the Ecotourism and Sustainable Tourism Conference. The GMIC is a premier global non-profit organization dedicated to advancing sustainability in the meetings and events industry. It spearheads education, research, policy, and standards, with member representation in over 20 countries.

Randy Woodley and Graham Hill discuss embracing ethnic diversity and learning from indigenous communities on The GlobalChurch Project. Woodley, a descendent of the United Keetoowah Band of Cherokee Indians, is a founding member of the North American Institute for Indigenous Theological Studies. Hill is the Founder and Director of The GlobalChurch Project.

Woodley and his wife Edith previously led a Native American gathering and developed a holistic service model, including a sustainable farm and Christian community. This initiative, which taught sustainability and eco-justice, was unfortunately disbanded due to violence. The GlobalChurch Project films Christian leaders and churches from diverse non-Western cultures, providing resources like curriculum, books, and training videos. David Keith reviews the science and technology of solar geoengineering, examining its potential to reduce climate risks, associated new risks, and current uncertainties. He proposes integrating solar geoengineering into a comprehensive 4D climate policy, which includes emissions cuts, carbon removal, and adaptation.

A distinguished expert, David Keith is a Harvard Professor of Applied Physics and Public Policy. He founded Carbon Engineering, a company developing technology to capture CO2 for carbon-neutral fuels. Best known for his work on solar geoengineering, he led Harvard's Solar Geoengineering Research Program. He has authored over 200 academic publications and "A Case for Climate Engineering."

He received national Small Business Person and Entrepreneur of the Year awards.
