Carter, who began his career as a deckhand and rose to CEO, transformed the climate conversation in the Australian fishing industry. He shifted his perspective from viewing climate change as a taboo topic to understanding it as a critical business risk and financial imperative. His commitment to sustainable fishing is a hallmark of his career.
