Since Trump's second inauguration on January 20, we have filed 65 lawsuits. These actions targeted destructive policies, climate-killing fossil fuels, widespread chemical approvals, and the despoilment of vital ecosystems like the Everglades. We also fought corruption threatening wilderness areas and defended national parks from exploitation.

We are deeply grateful for your continued faith and anticipate more hard-fought battles and victories in 2026.

Taylor McKinnon, an accidental artist and dedicated activist, serves as the Southwest Director for the Center for Biological Diversity. He oversees efforts to protect wildlands and endangered species, spearheading campaigns to end federal fossil fuel leasing and ban uranium mining around the Grand Canyon.

In this artist talk, McKinnon explores nature photography as a practice of natural history, intertwining observation, art, love, and activism. He will discuss his process in the field and Lightroom, including the compositional freedom of long lenses and developing a minimalist style absent art theory. McKinnon will also share abstract landscape photography not featured in the exhibit.
