WTSA-24 | Shaping the Future of Technology Standards

Members of the International Telecommunication Union (ITU) have set priorities for standards and capacity development at the World Telecommunication Standardization Assembly (WTSA-24). Focus areas include artificial intelligence (AI), the metaverse, and sustainable digital transformation.

The conference updated existing guidance and adopted eight new resolutions. These measures strengthen the ITU's standardization work to meet rapidly evolving global needs.
