On November 10, 2021, at COP26 in Glasgow, the University of Cambridge’s Aviation Impact Accelerator (AIA) hosted a fireside chat titled 'Accelerating Aviation to Climate Neutrality.' Prof. Rob Miller, Eliot Whittington, and John Holland-Kaye discussed the opportunities and challenges for climate-neutral aviation, stressing a whole-system approach.

The event included a preview of the AIA simulator prototype, designed to guide innovation, investment, and policy. The AIA aims to accelerate the transition to climate-neutral aviation by building an interactive, open-source, whole-system simulator.
