Transformation to more efficient, inclusive, resilient, and sustainable agrifood systems

This video documents a Norwegian-funded project, a strategic partnership between Norway, FAO, and Jordan's Ministry of Agriculture, transforming agrifood systems and aligning with the 2030 Sustainable Development Agenda. It showcases how international cooperation modernizes the agricultural sector.

A unique participatory model involves 27 beneficiaries—Jordanians, Syrian refugees, men, and women—collectively managing 27 greenhouses. This fosters expertise exchange, diverse crop production, and market scale, empowering vulnerable youth and rural women. The project embodies FAO's "Four Betters" (Better Production, Nutrition, Environment, Life), ensuring sustainable development leaves no one behind.
