In Uganda, limited veterinary services create gaps in routine livestock healthcare for smallholder farmers. Private-sector veterinary paraprofessionals (VPPs) are crucial in filling this need.

Supported by the Gates Foundation, FAO and partners empower VPPs with technical and business training.
