Anand Malligavad, a mechanical engineer, gained recognition for single-handedly restoring a 36-acre dried lake in just 45 days. What began as a CSR activity evolved into his life's mission, leading him to leave his job and dedicate himself to revitalizing the city's water resources.
Now an environmental conservationist, Anand has successfully revived seven lakes. His ambitious goal is to restore 45 of Bangalore's water bodies by 2025.
