The Center and three Alaska Native Tribes have sued the Trump administration for illegally trading federal land vital to tribal members. Ninety wild animals, including impalas, kudus, and zebras, have been reintroduced into Zimbabwe’s Mucheni Community Conservancy. This translocation, part of the EU-funded Sustainable Wildlife Management (SWM) Programme, involved close collaboration with ZimParks, Binga Rural District Council, and local leaders.

The initiative aims to restore ecosystems damaged by drought, poaching, and habitat loss. Beyond boosting biodiversity, it will support community-led conservation, enhance climate resilience, and create future eco-tourism opportunities.
