Generally innovation in the context of sustainability focuses on the conversations around the role of innovation by business leaders who advocate the development of sound business models to encourage investment in new products and services. Many, but not all, of these products are around renewable energy, another EarthSayers.tv Special Collection, so this collection addresses other emerging markets as well in diverse industries ranging from agriculture to information technology to biotechnology as well as beauty and wellness. Sustainability, however, calls on us to consider innovation more broadly to include not just the technical, but the social and environmental as well. Innovation may be found in conversations around ethical sourcing, social innovation conferences, and in the role of social entrepreneur.

The End of the Line Documentary |
| This is a trailer for an extraordinary documentary that is a wake-up call to the world about the global issues surrounding overfishing. If we continue to fish the way we do there may be no fish left in the ocean by 2048. Narrated by Ted Danson (an active member of Oceana) and endorsed by National Geographic and Greenpeace, the doc educates us about this growing issue and what we can do in our everyday lives to combat the problem (support restaurants that only serve sustainable seafood, etc.).
