In celebration of Earth Day 2011 we chose ten videos that moved us the most this year from among the hundreds we reviewed. You will find earthsayers who see their work of sustainability as part of their civic responsibility, others who are in the business world and understand it is not business as usual, and professionals who come from a wide range of fields - filmmaking, economics, medicine, and philosophy.
The ten earthsayers, the voices of sustainability, are Amory Lovins, Charles Prince of Whales, Charlotte, Heidi McCloskey, John Perkins, John Fullerton, Juliet Hill-butterfly, Dr. Karl-Henrick Robert, Larry Merculieff (Aluet), and Stephanie Soechtig.

He explores the idea that the Earth is an integrated, self-regulating living organism and asks what function humanity might have for this planetary being. It suggests that we stand on the threshold of a major leap in evolution, as significant as the emergence of life itself, and the essence of this leap is inner spiritual evolution. Moreover, Peter Russell maintains that it is only through such a shift in consciousness that we will be able to manage successfully the global crisis now facing us.
