The UK Business Group Alliance for Net Zero (BGA) hosted a session at COP26 in Glasgow on November 2, 2021. Coordinated by CLG UK, the BGA is a network of leading business groups dedicated to increasing political and business ambition for the UK's 2050 net zero emissions target.

This session explored the challenges and opportunities of a whole-economy shift to net zero. It featured high-level input from BEIS and leaders of the UK's five largest business groups: the Confederation of British Industries, Make UK, British Chambers of Commerce, Federation of Small Businesses, and Institute of Directors, discussing actions to meet the target.

She highlighted that environmental protection is an ancient concept, referencing the Bhagavad Gita's wisdom on man's relationship with nature and Wangari Maathai's Nobel-winning Green Belt movement.

Reddy issued a call to action to "regreen the earth," announcing her plan to form a team with schoolmates. They will appeal to Karimnagar District residents to plant at least five trees each.
