Ethnographic filmmaker David MacDougall was interviewed by EarthSayers.tv in April 2014, focusing on children in Indian institutional settings. His projects include films from The Doon School, such as "Doon School Chronicles" (2000), and work at Rishi Valley School. His experimental film "SchoolScapes" (2007), made at Rishi Valley, won the Basil Wright Film Prize. His latest film, "Gandhi's Children" (2008), focuses on a New Delhi children's shelter.

MacDougall authored "Transcultural Cinema" (1998) and "The Corporeal Image: Film, Ethnography, and the Senses" (2006). Educated at Harvard University and UCLA, he has resided in Australia since 1975. A more complete biography is available here.

Mr Bhatt has over twenty five years of teaching and leadership experience, and has been instrumental in the development of internationalised education in China for almost two decades. He was the founding International Principal of the International Curriculum Centre at the High School Affiliated to Renmin University of China (Beijing Renda Fuzhong), Nanjing Jinling High School and Suzhou International Academy, Beijing Foreign Studies University. He was also the Academic Principal at the Beijing Luhe International Academy. Currently, he works with the teacher training team at The University of Nottingham Ningbo China, designing and delivering training and consultancy programmes to teachers and educational leaders.  His research interests include Educational Leadership, Building Sustainable Schools, Self-seeking, Fear and Creativity. When time permits - and it always permits - he likes to be close to the existence in the form of children and nature, loves reading about existentialism, writes poems and plays badminton. His educational philosophy is much influenced by J. Krishnamurti, which revolves around the true meaning of educating the child for facing oneself and the world as it is, rather what it should be!   Mr Bhatt has over 25 years of teaching and leadership experience, and has been instrumental in the development of internationalised education in China for almost two decades.
