Anglo-French entrepreneur Felicity Fallon co-founded Lake Aid five years ago. Based in Annecy, the charity supports children from asylum-seeking and homeless families, and unaccompanied minors, working to reduce inequality and poverty.

While on a trip to the Maldives in 2009, he came up with a solution to the problem of an abundance of sun, but not so much available land. If you have maxed out the available space for photovoltaics on land, why not put photovoltaics on the sea? By developing a marine floating solar system which can provide any required solar capacity to almost any island, an island could switch off their diesel gensets completely during daytime. Martin founded Swimsol in 2012 and worked in cooperation with the Technical University of Vienna to develop SolarSeaTM - the world's first commercial modular marine-grade floating solar system. Today Swimsol has 55 employees and has successfully completed projects in the Maldives, Indonesia, and Malaysia, and are currently expanding into new markets. Global Water Dances is a visionary initiative combining participatory art and environmental activism. It uses dance and film to promote water preservation and conservation through community engagement, connecting a worldwide community of artists and environmentalists.

Anja Schäplitz, a freelance dance artist and educator, co-founded Tanz & Theater in PHYNIX, a non-profit supporting socially-engaged dance. She focuses on participative, site-specific projects, believing in cultural power to address societal challenges and foster a more just, humane society through collaboration.
