On March 15, 2019, 1.5 million people globally participated in the School Strike for Climate. In this talk, 12-year-old climate activist and songwriter Lucy Gray makes a compelling argument for climate justice as humanity's path forward. She discovered her passion in 2017, subsequently forming a climate action group at her school.

When international strikes reached New Zealand, Lucy led the Christchurch strike and founded its local SS4C group. She now co-convenes the national School Strike for Climate NZ team, a student-led initiative urging urgent government action.
