After teaching in the UK, she returned to China, home to many power plants, and now works at Shanghai Jiaotong University. She is dedicated to cutting CO2 emissions from industrial sources like power, chemical, steel, and cement plants, and advocates for negative emissions to help China achieve its 2060 carbon neutral goal.
