Sustainability and 3(e) TBL by Julia Anastasio

The more standard 3TBL is Planet, People, and Economics 3(p)TBL, but where's the equity? It seems to emphasize people solely as consumers, rather than citizens. Julia brings into focus social sustainability and the sustainability of our communities coupled with the role of public works.

Julia Anastasio is Director of Sustainability for the American Public Works Association (APWA). She was interviewed at the start of the APWA Sustainability in Public Works Conference, June 27-29 in Portland, Oregon by Ruth Ann Barrett of Earthsayers.tv, voices of sustainability.
