Kate Miller is a Portland-based designer at Kate Miller
Sustainable Interiors specializing in all aspects of lighting design
with an emphasis in energy conservation. Challenges right now in energy efficient lighting is the market slow
down which makes collaboration more difficult. She calls on all design
professionals to adopt a building - school, non-profit - during this
slow time and making this the year of focusing on social equity issues in the green building movement.
